Snow Planner: actions.

Resource actions

The following tables use the die’s effective value after space costs. Spend Snow or Tickets only to offset a cost; neither temporarily raises the die above its face.

ValueSnow AreaRestaurantPromotionTicket Area
11 Snow1 Croissant1 Like1 Ticket
21 Snow1 Croissant2 Likes2 Tickets
32 Snow2 Croissants2 Likes2 Tickets
41 blue Window3 Croissants4 Likes3 Tickets
53 Snow4 Croissants4 Likes3 Tickets
65 Snow and play a card6 Croissants6 Likes and 2 points5 Tickets and play a card

As a free action, pay 3 Croissants for an orange Window. Install a gained Window immediately in one empty Hotel space and take that space’s bonus. One Window per space; you cannot replace an installed tile under the normal rules.

Advance Promotion by the number of Likes gained. Collect rewards on all spaces reached or crossed. At the maximum, you still gain Likes for triggered card effects, even though the cube cannot advance.

The third worker

The first time your score reaches or passes 8, take your third worker at value 1. It becomes available next round. Losing points afterwards does not remove it. Digital Nomad starts with this die and does not receive a fourth at 8 points.

Event area

ValueEffect
1–2Play one Event or Goal.
3–4Gain 1 Ticket, then play one Event or Goal.
5–6Play up to two Events/Goals in total.

Pay a card’s blue cost and meet its red condition before playing it. A card without permanent or end-game timing resolves once immediately. Benefits can be declined; do not confuse an optional benefit with a mandatory cost or condition.

Goals

A play-card effect can take a face-up Goal from the central display if your Window positions match its pattern; colors are irrelevant. Gain its immediate points. All players together can activate at most three Goals. After the third, turn the other displayed Goals face down. Every active Goal is a public end-game competition, not its owner’s private scoring objective.

Guest area

ValueTake Guests from the Station
1–2One from positions 1–2.
3One from positions 1–4.
4Up to two from positions 1–4.
5Up to two from positions 1–6.
6Up to two Guests from positions 1–6 and/or VIPs from the display.

You still need available rooms and must meet a VIP’s Window pattern. Finish taking both cards before sliding and refilling the Station. See Guests.

VIP area

Place a die and apply the chosen VIP’s printed variable placement cost. Offset that cost as needed to leave an effective value of at least 1, and meet its Window layout. Put the VIP in a free room at Day 1. The Guest Area’s value-6 reward is a separate way to gain VIPs.

Summit

Take the printed space reward; if its Summit tile is face up, take that tile’s reward too. The Summit also chooses next round’s turn order during Cleaning. Summit tiles are face down until the first High Season round.

Part-time job

Take the shared Part-Time Die and draw one Event. That die can act from your next turn in this round. If another player has already hired it, you draw the Event but do not take the die from them.

Its training cost is the old face minus 1 Tickets. Receive 1 point when training it to 3, 2 points when training to 4 or 5, and 3 points when training to 6. Return the shared die during Cleaning without resetting it.

Projects

Place a die in a Project Area space, pay the Project’s front cost and take its front reward. Turn the acquired Project over and place it in your play area; immediately refill the display.

In the base game, that back is a private action space. Place your own die there to score the smaller of its value and the amount of the specified resource you hold. This compares your resources rather than spending them unless an effect says otherwise.

[Season] New Season Projects replace the base deck and have colored House backs with Window spaces instead.
