Luthier: KS Promo Pack
The 11-card KS Promo Pack for Luthier: four rare instruments, three wild-era Patron A cards, three Catherine the Great royal patrons and its rules card.
Short tag: [Promo]
What it adds
An 11-card pack voted on by the 2024 crowdfunding backers: four instruments, six patrons and a rules card. It needs no new rules beyond the card abilities and two new icons.

| Card | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Marie Antoinette | Patron A, noble, wild era | At the start of each round, draw the top instrument card into your hand. |
| Debussy | Patron A, composer, wild era | At the Guild and Repair locations, tier II and III cards are free for you. |
| Franz Liszt | Patron A, performer, wild era | At the Salon and Perform locations, tier II and III cards are free for you. |
| Catherine the Great (×3) | Royal patron, wild era | Royal patron: prestige gifts and a start-of-round prestige power; the three copies ask for different instrument families. |

| Card | Family | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Mandolin | A normal rare instrument. | |
| Ocarina | A normal rare instrument. | |
| Accordion | A normal rare instrument. | |
| Triangle | Finished for free as soon as it is roughed — it needs no finishing-bench space — but it can’t satisfy a patron. Worth 1 prestige. |

Setup changes
Before shuffling the decks:
- add the four instruments to the instrument deck;
- add Marie Antoinette, Debussy and Liszt to the Patron A deck;
- add the three Catherine the Great cards to the Royal Patron deck (then trim it to players + 1 as usual).
New and changed rules
Wild era (
with a “?”). These patrons count as any one era, chosen separately
for each public award and each personal goal — so one wild patron can help several awards.
Any-era note. A secondary requirement shown with the multicoloured note can be met by a medium or high performance of any era.
The Triangle is roughed as usual and is then finished at once without a finishing action or costs, placing its token and scoring. It can never be given to a patron.
Scoring changes
None: the cards use the normal scoring. A wild-era patron completed counts for era-based awards and goals as described above.
