Welcome to Forestry

A European forest. You run a forestry business: you harvest wood, treat it at the sawmills and deliver it on contracts — and you replant what you cut and care for the forest, because that earns the stars that make you faster.
The player with the most victory points after 10 rounds wins. Points come from:
Contracts — wood of the right species with the right treatments.- The end of the game — buildings,
river tokens × your multiplier, task cards and
the forester-token majority.
1–4 players (solo against the forester), about 70–120 minutes. Ready to set up? Open the setup checklist — it adapts to your player count.
The forest and the sawmills

- Forest (centre): 15 hexes of
pine,
birch,
spruce,
beech and
oak, split by rivers into three areas. Your harvester works here. - Sawmills (the ring): three complexes, each with an HQ tile and three buildings. Your sawmill manager works here.
- Your player board: wood storage, the action point and development tracks, the star circle, your buildings, and three tables — forestry, reforestation and water structures.

Your turn: spend action points
Each round starts with a game round token (a bonus, or a tree felled). Then each player takes a whole turn, spending 3 action points (more as you develop).
- Harvester: move (1; rivers cost a coin), harvest, reforest, tend the forest, build, water structure.
- Manager: move to another HQ, use a building, upgrade a building, fulfil a contract.
- Free: buy up to 2 action points for 4 coins each, open storage, use a task card.

Harvest, treat, deliver — and replant
- Harvest a colourful harvest token: wood to storage, maybe
stars; the token turns dark. - Treat the wood at a sawmill:
pickling, drying or
planing. - Fulfil a contract with exactly the wood it shows, for its rewards.
- Reforest dark tokens with
seedlings — they stay on your reforestation table
and pay stars.
Stars go round your reward circle; each lap gives a reward — above all, the development track for more action points and technology.

The end and scoring
After the last round token, everyone takes one more turn. Then score:
Buildings — 1 / 2 / 4 / 7 / 7 / 10 for 1–6 buildings.
River tokens — matching items × your multiplier (1×–5×).
Task cards — 1 / 3 / 5 / 8, then +3 each.
Forester majority — 10 / 6 / 2.- Leftovers — 1 VP per 3 resources and coins, 1 VP per wood.
Ties: most seedlings planted. Full details: Scoring.
