Solo Mode
The Networks: Primetime solo — setting up the solo deck, how the automated opponent clears the display, when it passes, and the solo ranking table.
You play the normal game against an opponent that never scores: it only removes cards from the display and competes for the pass track (rulebook p. 14).
Solo setup
- Set up as usual with the 1–2 player setup board.
- Shuffle the 15 solo cards into the opponent’s deck and give it one cube of another colour as its pass marker. It uses no other components.
- Decide at random who holds the 1st-player token, and take your starting cash for that position.
- Deal each card type of the display in its own horizontal row and never rearrange it.

Opponent turns
On its turn, reveal the top solo card. The opponent discards one faceup display card of the type the solo card shows, picking by the preference printed at the bottom. When several cards fit the preference equally — or none does — it discards the leftmost of that type.
If the display has no cards of that type left, put the solo card face up beside the pass track and reveal another.
Solo passing
When a second solo card lands beside the pass track, the opponent passes instead of discarding: it claims the first column of the pass track, and no more solo cards are drawn this round. If you pass before the opponent, the round ends at once.
Solo end of round
Do the end-of-round steps for yourself only. The 1st-player token simply swaps between you and the opponent. Before the next round, shuffle all 15 solo cards back into its deck.

[Telly] In Telly Time, a solo card that prefers a show of “your best genre” takes the leftmost show that would complete a line on your genre grid, or else the leftmost show (Telly Time). [Execs] Gorilla’s extra cash is $2M in total when playing solo (Executives).
