Game End and Scoring
When The Gallerist ends (two of three conditions), the final round, and every step of endgame scoring: market majorities, Reputation tiles, exhibition, the auction, Curator and Art Dealer cards, Influence, and tie-breakers.
End of the game
Play continues until at least two of these are true:
- the box office is empty of tickets;
- two or more Artists are Celebrities;
- the Visitor bag is empty.
Final round
As soon as the second condition is met, finish the round up to the last player. Then each player, from the Starting Player, takes one more turn. In that final round there are no Kicked-out actions: a kicked-out piece just goes home.
Endgame scoring
Score in this order; the spaces at the top right of the board track the steps. Everything scores money, and the richest player wins.
International Market majorities
Each column is scored on its own, counting your Assistants in the whole column (Reputation and auction parts):
| Column | Most | Second | Third |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | 6 | 3 | 1 |
| 2nd | 10 | 6 | 3 |
| 3rd | 15 | 10 | 6 |
Ties: add the tied places and share the total, rounded down. No Assistant in a column, no money. With two players only the first two amounts are paid.
Reputation tiles
Each Reputation tile on your player board pays as printed (see Cards & Components); the Influence some tiles give counts for the Influence step. Resolve the “1 money per 3 Influence” tile before any other. A tile still on your 3rd Gallery slot is discarded.
Exhibition
Each work still in your Gallery pays its sales value (its Signature token).
Auction of renowned works
Add up each player’s offers: every Assistant in the lower 3 rows is worth 1, 3 or 6 by its row.
- The highest total chooses one renowned work, then the second highest, and so on until the works are gone. Each player takes at most one.
- Ties: the higher offer in the 3rd column wins; if none there, the 2nd column, and so on.
- Put the work beside your Curator card or Art Dealer card: it helps complete that card. You are paid its sales value as if made by the more famous discovered Artist of that art form.
Curator cards
Pay for completed collections of works exhibited in your Gallery (at most 4, with a Masterpiece) plus an auctioned work placed by the card. One work may count in both collections and fill more than one goal; each goal scores once.
Art Dealer cards
Pay for completed sets of works you sold (plus an auctioned work placed by the card). Each goal scores once.
Influence
Take the money shown in the money icon at, or the nearest below, your Influence disc:
| Influence | Money |
|---|---|
| 0 | 0 |
| 1–3 | 1 |
| 4–7 | 2 |
| 8–11 | 3 |
| 12–14 | 4 |
| 15–17 | 5 |
| 18–19 | 6 |
| 20–21 | 7 |
| 22–23 | 8 |
| 24–25 | 9 |
| 26 | 10 |
| 27 | 11 |
| 28 | 12 |
| 29 | 13 |
| 30 | 14 |
| 31 | 15 |
| 32 | 16 |
| 33 | 17 |
| 34 | 18 |
| 35 | 20 |
Tie-breakers
The most money wins. Ties go to, in order:
- most Works of Art acquired (exhibited and sold);
- most Visitors in your Gallery;
- most Assistants in play.
Still tied: all tied players win.
