Game End and Scoring
When the game ends — the second time the bank breaks — and how the winner is decided.
When the game ends
The game ends during the Dinnertime in which the bank breaks for the second time (Breaking the bank):
- Finish that Dinnertime. Everyone keeps collecting what they earn, from the box or as IOUs.
- The game ends. Skip Payday, Marketing and Cleanup: no salaries are paid in the last round.
In an introductory game, the game ends the first time the bank breaks.
Who wins
Count your cash, IOUs included. The most cash wins. Nothing else scores.
Ties go to the tied player who is earlier in turn order.
How long the game lasts
The bank reserve cards decide how much cash the bank gets after its first break: three $100 cards make a short game, $300 cards a long one. Salaries go back to the bank, so the bank breaks only when the players have together earned it all (bank reserve cards).
