Solo
Play against Cocijobot, the automated city builder.
Cocijobot
Use the two-player map setup, but leave the spaces marked 3+ or 4 empty. Set aside the Action cards and Trade tiles according to the solo setup, and use the six-card Cocijobot deck. Cocijobot uses its own colour and pieces; it does not receive resources.
During its turn, resolve the card’s building priorities: it tries a space matching all three symbols, then the round bonus, and then a Pyramid scoring tile if it has begun a Pyramid. If a space is unavailable, skip that placement. It then resolves the Capital action printed at the bottom of its card. If it could not build any House, reveal another card and perform that card’s Capital action too.
Its Sacrifice, Trade, Pyramid, Ritual, and final-scoring procedures differ from a human player’s. Follow the complete solo sequence on the official rulebook’s solo pages when moving Cocijobot. The solo rules give special scores for its Trade tiles and Rituals and award a five-point bonus for each of its Pyramid levels even when its Pyramid is incomplete.
Solo objective
Compare your final score with Cocijobot’s after the fifth round. The solo rules also provide adjustments to make the opponent easier or harder.
