Gameplay
The Action card, income grid, and building loop.
Round structure
Play five rounds. Simultaneously choose one card from your hand, then reveal them together. Lower-numbered cards act first. Each player takes the following steps before the next player starts.
Action cards
The top resource matches a row and a column on your player board; choose one of those lines and collect every resource shown in its spaces, including the line’s printed basic resource. The middle symbol gives the property restriction for your building spaces this turn: type, terrain, or region. Your card’s number determines turn order.
Buildings
Cornfields cost Wood and Stone, Temples cost Brick and Stone, and Villages cost Brick and Wood. Select an empty map space allowed by your card, take its Building tile, put a House there, and place the tile on an empty space of your income grid. You cannot stack tiles or move them later. Each Building tile provides its advanced resource and one basic resource shown on the tile.
A Palace uses a building space too. It does not produce income, and the tile from the chosen space stays face up on your player board as a reminder of its type. For scoring, the Palace counts as two Houses of that type.
End of a turn
After Capital actions and construction, score 2 points for every House that matches the round’s bonus property. A Palace can count twice. Then take one Action card from the Offer; in the last round, skip this draft. At round end, the leftover Offer card becomes the next bonus card and the played cards return to the Offer as described in the rules.
