Reputation and Scoring

Gaining and triggering Reputation, Location Goals, the end-game signal, the final round and Final Scoring.

The Reputation track

The Reputation track: VP and Coffee above each zone, actions below

The track on top of the City Map holds your Reputation marker and Freud’s Reputation marker Freud’s. Each zone shows a reward above the track (VP and Coffee) and actions below it.

Gaining Reputation

Reputation point Each time you gain a Reputation point:

  1. Advance Freud’s marker one space.
  2. Advance yours one space (on top of any markers already there).
  3. Each time your marker or Freud’s crosses a Advance Freud 1 Location without effects icon, Freud walks one Location clockwise on the City Map — without triggering it. If both cross, he walks twice.

Already on space 9? Don’t move to 10: score 3 VP instead — every time.

Gaining Reputation never triggers the track.

Where to gain Reputation

Triggering the Reputation track

Trigger the Reputation track Triggering (the leftmost Inkpot space, some effects) moves no markers:

  1. Score the VP and gain the Coffee in the zone above your marker.
  2. Do one action from the zone below Freud’s marker, or from any zone to its left.

Location Goals

Location Goal tiles

As soon as you meet the condition at the bottom of an unclaimed Location Goal, you must claim it: take it, gain a Reputation point Reputation point and keep it face down — its Location tags are in play for you. Claim every goal you qualify for, even several in one turn.
