Solo
Two published solo options for Flamme Rouge.
Flamme Rouge has solo options in the designer’s standalone rules and the official Peloton expansion. Choose one bot system and follow its own setup; do not combine their starting positions or handicaps.
Designer solo rules
The base-game designer variant uses your two riders against two automated teams. Set up the opponents in the prescribed staggered grid. Choose your riders’ cards normally, then reveal one card for each automated rider and move the field front to back. Bots do not receive Exhaustion. The solo rules recommend a starting Exhaustion handicap for the human team; adjust it only as the variant specifies.
Read the designer solo rules for the exact starting arrangement and challenge level.
Peloton solo
[Peloton] The official expansion provides the Peloton and Muscle automated teams. Each uses its own card reveal and movement procedure; they ignore Exhaustion, while your team starts with the expansion’s solo handicap. See the full Peloton solo setup.
Community solo systems
Legendary Riders
[Community] Legendary Riders is a fan-made five-stage solo campaign, with dice-run opponents, two teammates, rider talents and campaign scoring. It is fully optional and described in Legendary Riders; the rider card sheet has an unresolved text-reading gap.
28-rider fan variant
An unofficial two-page variant adds a large AI field to a solo Grand Tour. The described setup puts the AI profile cards in front of the player, chooses the player’s rider cards first, then resolves AI riders as needed using a die and profile card. The source gives an optional rider skill, neutral cards, and rules for turns/aspiration; those finer details need full text verification before being taught as a complete mode. Do not mistake this variant for the designer’s official solo rules.
