Game End and Scoring
When Coimbra ends and the five steps of the final scoring: voyages, influence tracks, diplomas, game end cards, and guards, coins and crowns.
End of the game
The game ends after phase F of the fourth round, when the character stack is empty. Score in this order, all players for each step before the next.
Voyages
Each player scores every voyage card holding one of their disks, by its task (all 15 are in Cards & Components).
Influence tracks
For each track, look at the influence scoring tile above it:
| Place on the track | 2 players | 3 players | 4 players |
|---|---|---|---|
| First | top value | top value | top value |
| Second | middle value — only if no more than 3 spaces behind the leader | middle value | middle value |
| Third | — | — | bottom value |
- Ties: the disk that got there first (lower in the stack) is ahead.
- A disk still on 0 scores nothing.
- Tiles: 2/3-player side 7/3, 9/4, 11/5, 13/6; 4-player side 10/6/3, 12/8/4, 14/9/5, 16/11/6.
Diplomas
Collect the diploma icons on your character cards and monasteries and group them in sets of
different kinds (5 kinds:
). A wild diploma
counts as any kind.
Each icon is used in one set only.
| Different kinds in the set | Points |
|---|---|
| 5 | 12 |
| 4 | 8 |
| 3 | 4 |
| 2 | 2 |
| 1 | 1 |
Game end bonuses
Each
game end card scores once:
- Track card (one per class): your disk on 7–9 → 5 points, 10–12 → 7, 13–15 → 10, lower → 0.
- Influence 1 or 2: 1 point per card of yours with influence value 1 or 2.
- Four classes: 5 points per set of one card of each class (this card counts).
- Copy: the game end bonus of another card of yours, once more.
Guards, coins and crowns
Add your guards, your coins and your crowns (counted as in phase D: crown tokens at 2, favor tiles, your flag). Halve the total, round down: that many points.
Winner
Most points wins. Tie: the tied player first in player order wins.
