Game End and Scoring

How Beer Pioneers ends at 20 victory points, the two parts of the final scoring with lightbulbs, beers and coins, and the tie-breakers.

Game end

As soon as a player reaches 20 (even if they lose points again later), this is the last round. Play it to the end, round end included. The score track goes on past 20; scores above 25 still count. FAQ FAQ

[Boom] With the Export, Double coop or House brand module the game end tile moves to 22 (24 with two of them, 25 with all three) (Beer Boom).

Final scoring

Part 1 — everyone. For each in your display you may discard 1 beer tile from your cellar for 1 . The lightbulbs are not used up.

Part 2 — players on the last space of the brewing level track. Pay 1 per in your display for 1 each.

[Boom] Brewing waste: −½ per draff marker, rounded down. Export: export discs still on the negative spaces count against you.

Ties

The most victory points wins. Ties: the player with more beer — in the cellar and still brewing — then more barrels anywhere on the brewery board (virtual barrel included). Still tied: shared victory.
