Cards & Components
Every Beer Pioneers (Bier Pioniere) component with a picture: the boards, all 64 action cards with their display icons, orders and white actions, the starting, setup and objective cards, extension and cellar tiles, beer tiles and tokens, the Beer Boom components and the icons.
Card faces come from Spielefaible’s English card sheet; boards, tiles and tokens are scans of the printed components from the public Beer Pioneers Tabletop Simulator mod (its bonus action / round end board is the German print); icons and Beer Boom pieces come from the English rulebooks. Effects are in our own words; the card text wins.
Boards
| Picture | Description |
|---|---|
![]() | Game board — card display and brewing level track, turn order area, objectives, the 8 worker action areas, truck spaces, exchange and the score track (numbered tour). FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ Both spaces of an action area may be used in one round if both are free; the turn-order worker blocks its chosen spot. Reaching 20 points starts the final round, and the track can continue beyond 25. FAQ |
![]() | Brewery board (4) — coops, barrel depot, progress track, cellar, extension and retirement spaces, brewmaster space, administrative area (numbered tour). The “+” administrative spaces can let you choose one part if the other is unavailable; cellar retirement tiles are set randomly, so you choose the matching space when upgrading. Any tagged worker may advance one step, but you may upgrade only once per round. FAQ |
![]() | Bonus action / round end board — basic and improved bonus areas (Bonus actions); the five round end steps and the income track (Round End). FAQ FAQ FAQ Take a bonus only after your worker action when worker plus space experience reaches 6; with 2 lightbulbs you may still choose the basic area. |
Cards
Action cards
64 cards, each with a beige-brown display row, a purple order and a white action — one of the three is always empty (Action cards). “Display” lists the icons the card adds to your display: lightbulbs, new barrels, barrels moved and rotations. “Brewmaster” marks a permanent effect when slid under your board (Brewmaster characters). The 12 starting action cards are marked S. FAQ FAQ FAQ

Rulings that apply to every row below: The rulebook’s display examples leave out the starting card — can I remove it?.
| Picture | Description |
|---|---|
![]() | First player — display: 1 new barrel, move 1 barrel, 2 rotations. Start with 2 barrels in the depot, 3 starting action cards and 4 coins. |

![]() | Machine Hall — your 2 extra small bonus workers. These two additional workers join your supply for later bonus actions and objectives. |
![]() | Improved barrel depot (from the Truck fleet) — 5 spaces and a permanent virtual barrel (Barrel depot and cellar). Only cellar barrels pay or fulfill orders; depot barrels still count toward the 7-barrel objective. FAQ |
