Lead your family
After four rounds, the family with the most 
Prestige wins. You must govern, trade and protect your interests to score.
Follow the round
Each round: prepare, collect income, take turns, resolve border 
battles, then refresh the board. The fourth round skips refresh and ends with scoring.
Choose an action
On your turn choose a kingdom, Military action, Barge or Pass. Kingdom visits install governors, exchange goods or 
ship; see action details.
Build a defense
Nomad attacks can remove governors. Train soldiers with 
rice and build 
walls or 
towers with 
stone to protect each path and earn battle Prestige.
Score Prestige
Deliveries, Palace tracks, battles and objectives score during play. 
Jade Figurines, track rank, 
Objectives and leftover resources add points at the end.
