Game End and Scoring
Winning a round and scoring the Advanced game.
Basic winner
The final player who has not been eliminated wins the round and the Basic game. There is no score tally in Basic Red7.
Advanced scoring
[Advanced] Only the round winner scores. Take the cards that make their best qualifying set under the final rule, put them beneath their reference card, and add their printed numbers. Do not score the whole Palette unless every card belongs to that set.
| Final rule | Cards banked |
|---|---|
| Red | The single highest card. |
| Orange | The largest same-number group; resolve tied groups with the normal highest-card comparison. |
| Yellow | The largest same-color group, using the same tie-breaker. |
| Green | Every even card. |
| Blue | The highest card of each color present. |
| Indigo | The best longest consecutive run, one card per number. |
| Violet | Every card below 4. |
For Blue, a Palette with Red 5, Red 2 and Blue 3 banks Red 5 and Blue 3 for 8 points. The extra Red 2 adds no color and scores nothing.
Starting another round
[Advanced] Keep all banked cards aside. Shuffle the other numbered cards and deal again as in setup; do not permanently remove eliminated players’ cards. Advanced module.
Winning the game
[Advanced] The target is 40 points with two players, 35 with three and 30 with four. If the remaining deck cannot supply the next full deal, the highest score wins instead. The rulebook does not specify a final-score tie-breaker.
