No qualifying cards

A high card outside the current rule cannot help. With no even card under Green, or no card below 4 under Violet, you cannot win; the usual highest-card tie-breaker only compares qualifying cards. This agrees with v1.3 page 4.

Eliminated Palettes

Turn an eliminated player’s hand and Palette face down and exclude that Palette from later comparisons. Only players still in the round can block a win.

Can one card form an Indigo run?

Yes. A single card is a length-one run. Any two-card consecutive run beats it; equal-length runs use their highest qualifying card to break the tie.

Which cards return for the next round?

Keep banked scoring cards out. Reshuffle the other numbered cards, including eliminated players’ cards, for the next deal. The rulebook says the next hand excludes scored cards; it does not remove every card used in a previous round.

Is there a final-score tie-breaker when the cards run out?

The rules end the game with highest score if another full deal is impossible, but do not specify a further tie-breaker. A suggestion in this discussion is a house rule, not a published rule.

Does the seven prevent a later normal Canvas discard?

Resolve the seven’s Action as part of the Palette play. The normal hand-to-Canvas discard remains available afterward. In v1.3, discarding through the seven’s Action does not trigger the Advanced bonus draw; do not use a wording from an earlier booklet to add that draw.
