The Four Minigames
Prague Unseen's four Neighborhood minigames — Golem Marketplace, Vodnik River and Mill Wheel, Horned Cauldron and Display Case, Robot Clock and Idea track — and the Milestones each one gives.
Placing a Worker on a Neighborhood Square always ends by playing that Neighborhood’s minigame (Place a Worker). The type of Worker you placed decides how it goes.
Golem minigame
The Golems cross the Marketplace to deal with the Guilds and rebuild the bridges.
- Move the Golem figure orthogonally (never diagonally) from space to space, as many times as the Worker Priority tile of your Worker type shows beside the Marketplace.
- Gain the reward of every space the Golem enters or ends on — not its starting space. Entering the same space twice in one turn gives its reward twice, if possible.
- Guild symbols: mark that Guild on your player board, unless it is already marked. You can hold each Guild only once at a time. Guilds pay for Bridges.
- Move the Priority tile you used to the bottom of the track and push the others up.
Vodnik minigame
The Vodniks calm the River by sailing it; the farther your Boat goes, the more it scores at the end.
- Move your Boat forward to the next River space whose bubble shows the Worker type you placed.
- Passing a stack of River Milestone tokens, look through it and take one (Milestones).
- End of the River: the first player to reach it puts a marker on the 12-
VP space, everyone
after on the 10-
VP space. Your Boat returns to the start and may sail a second time (never a
third); reaching the end again earns another marker on the 10-
VP space. - Mill Wheel: if the Wheel section of your Worker type holds 1 or 2 Reward tokens, gain all
their rewards, then move one of them clockwise to the next empty space. If it holds none, draw a
Mug card instead.
Horned minigame
The Horned collect magical Items in their Display Case.
- Gain the bonus of the Flame board (inner circle) section of your Worker type, then rotate it 90° clockwise.
- Take one Item from the Cauldron (outer circle) and refill its space from the bag.
- Put it in your Display Case: in a row that already holds that Item type if possible, on the leftmost empty space. A reward you cover is gained at once.
Repair reward: take a random Item from the bag into your Repair area, or move an Item from your Repair area into your Display Case by the normal rules. An Item that cannot be placed anywhere goes to the Repair area, which holds any number.
At the end each Display Case row scores the
VP shown above its rightmost Item, and each Item in the
Repair area scores 1
(scoring).
Robot minigame
The Robots copy others to produce goods, but every production moves time on.
- Move the Clock token clockwise to the section of your Worker type. If it is already there, it does not move.
- Advance your Idea track marker 1 space for each Light Bulb the Clock passed. No move, no advance.
- Reaching space 8: put that marker on an Idea Milestone to the right of the track that has none of your markers yet and gain it; put a new marker on 0 and keep moving if you have steps left.
- Crates in the Clock’s section: choose one Crate showing a reward, gain it and flip it to
its
Rumor side — or flip every Crate showing the
Rumor side (anywhere) back and gain 1
Rumor for each (extra
Rumor beyond 6 is lost).
Milestones
Each minigame gives one-time Milestones. There are four kinds:
Claim an
End Game Scoring bonus you do not have yet (Influence).- Activate a Building: use any built Building card (even an occupied one) in any Neighborhood as if you had entered it with a Worker of any type.
- Gain 1
Garnet. - Advance your Gargoyle 1 space on any
Influence track.
You can gain each kind of Milestone only once per Neighborhood. How you earn them:
| Neighborhood | How you earn a Milestone |
|---|---|
| Horned | Place the 3rd identical Item in a Display Case row |
| Robots | Reach the last space of the Idea track; claim one you don’t have yet |
| Vodniks | Pass a stack of River Milestone tokens and take one |
| Golems | Every two Bridge tiles you build |
