Cards & Components

Prague Unseen's boards, Building, Upgrade and Mug cards, tiles, tokens and pieces with pictures and what they do — every Mug card effect and the Upgrade cards the rulebook explains.

Pictures come from Capstone Games’ English rulebook (2026); effects are in our own words. The rulebook shows only examples of the Building and Upgrade cards. Those decks are described by type below; their remaining faces are still to be pictured.

Boards

The game board with numbered parts

The board’s legend is on Teach the Game.

PictureDescription

Starting Bonus tileStarting Bonus tile / virtual player reference. One side gives each Neighborhood’s starting bonus at setup; the other shows where the virtual player’s Gargoyles start.
Flame boardFlame board (Horned). Sits on the Cauldron; gives a bonus per Worker type and turns 90° each use (Horned minigame).
Marketplace Variety tileMarketplace Variety tile (Golems, optional). Covers the printed Marketplace with a different layout, either side.

Cards

Building cards

Building cards

65 cards in four decks: level 0 (dealt at setup, two per player) and levels I, II and III, one per Era. Each card shows the Worker type that may enter it (”?” = any) and the effect that Worker resolves — for example, pay 2 Books to gain 4 Fish. Individual faces: to be added — check them against the physical cards.

Upgrade cards

32 cards, 8 per Neighborhood; 4 of each are available face down beside their Neighborhood (Gain an Upgrade card). The rulebook explains these:

PictureDescription
Upgrade card q29q29 (Horned) — before choosing a Cauldron reward, turn the Flame board to any position. This lets you line the desired Worker reward up with the Worker you just placed.
Upgrade card q15q15 (Golems) — before moving on the Marketplace, choose any starting space for the Golem; that starting space gives no reward, only spaces it enters afterward do.
Upgrade cards q2, q10, q18 and q26q2, q10, q18, q26 — whenever you place your Vodnik / Golem / Robot / Horned Worker on any Square, gain 1 Fish and 1 Mug card / 1 Book and 1 Marketplace step / 1 Cog and 1 Idea step / 1 Beer and 1 Rumor. The bonus follows the Worker type used at placement, including a type changed by an Upgrade card.
Upgrade card q3q3 (Vodniks) — once per turn, after your Boat moves for any reason, gain 1 Rumor Rumor. The bonus can follow any River movement, but your Rumor track cannot go above 6.
Upgrade cards q4 and q11q4 (Vodniks) / q11 (Golems) — once per turn, pay 1 Rumor Rumor to move your Boat / the Golem 1 extra space; only once, not several times.
Upgrade card q22q22 (Robots) — once per turn, move your Idea marker 1 space back to gain 2 Rumor Rumors; not from 0 or with a marker already on a Milestone. The Rumor track still caps at 6.
Upgrade cards q8, q16, q24 and q32q8, q16, q24, q32 — in the Vodnik / Golem / Robot / Horned Neighborhood your Worker counts as any type, both when placed and when entering a Building there (not across a Bridge to another Neighborhood).

The other Upgrade card faces: to be added.

Mug cards

Mug cards

18 cards with six effects. Play any number as a free action on your turn, then discard them; you draw them from the Mill Wheel.

PictureDescription
Mug card: exchange ResourcesUp to twice: change 1 basic Resource into any other basic Resource. You can make zero, one or two exchanges, choosing the trade each time.
Mug card: Resource to RumorsDiscard 1 basic Resource to gain up to 3 Rumor Rumors; the track stops at 6, so at 5 Rumors you gain only 1.
Mug card: move a WorkerMove one of your Workers to a Square without one of yours; another player’s Worker may be there. This is not a placement, so no placement effects trigger.
Mug card: Worker of any typeBefore your action, treat your Worker as any type for this action and turn.
Mug card: move the WitchMove the Witch to any other Neighborhood, without a reward.
Mug card: Garnet to ResourcesDiscard 1 Garnet Garnet to gain 2 basic Resources of your choice. Choose the two Resources independently; they may be the same or different.

Tiles

PictureDescription
Faction tilesFaction tiles (4). Their order on the Popularity track sets each Neighborhood’s Influence value; re-sorted every Era.
Worker Priority tilesWorker Priority tiles (4, Golems). Show how many Marketplace steps each Worker type gives; the used one drops to the bottom (Golem minigame).
Building Price tokensBuilding Price tokens (36, 9 per Neighborhood, levels I–III). The cost to build on a space; taken VP side up, they score at the end.
Bridge tilesBridge tiles (8 per player). Each shows the 2 Guilds it costs; two adjacent ones make a complete Bridge (Build a Bridge).
River Variety tokensRiver Variety tokens (15, Vodniks, optional). At setup, cover the printed Worker bubbles in River order, placing all 3 tokens of one back type before choosing another set.
Witch tokensWitch tokens (10, piles I and II). The first player to reach a level I / II Witch space (3 / 5) draws 2 from that pile, places 1 and gains its bonus, returning the other to the pile; later, whoever moves the Witch there chooses the printed reward or the token’s bonus (Add a new Witch token).
