Upgrade Pack
Add optional Player Powers, Missions and upgraded components.
Escape Plan: Upgrade Pack
The publisher’s pack combines Kickstarter extras, including a 10-card Player Powers module, a six-card Player Missions module, a Gas Can Contact card, replacement Fixer tiles, a Contact Card display and upgraded pieces. Its rules recommend playing the base game first and using Powers or Missions separately, since combining them can create uneven pairings.
Player Powers
At setup, each player chooses one Player Power card and places it on the matching character. The power is available for the game; obey its specific cost, action limit and timing. The included rules give Mr. Bones, Lady T., Kitty and Ruby powers such as a starting Gas Can, changed movement, early Gang control or access to closed Businesses with a Notoriety cost.
Missions
Shuffle the six Mission cards and deal one facedown to each player. Each card presents two goals; after completing either goal, reveal it, choose one of its three ongoing abilities and mark that choice with a cube. An ability limited to once per day uses its token; refresh that token at the start of each day.
Upgraded components
The Upgrade Pack’s keys and Notoriety stars replace the corresponding base pieces. The Gas Can Contact card joins the Contact deck. Three Fixer tiles replace or add to the Fixer stack as shown in the pack. The remaining miniatures, acrylic cubes and display board are component upgrades rather than new rules.
