Keep an escape fund, use the city layout and manage your Notoriety.

Keep cash for the exit

Business and Safe House values on your secret Escape Plan card may arrive only at final scoring. Keep enough cash behind your screen for equipment, gangs, costs after another player escapes and your exit fee; unspent money is not useful if you are arrested.

Think about the whole day

The city gains police and loses open exits as days pass. Plan a route toward your intended exit early, and use the city phase to connect useful land types. A strong shortcut still leaves you responsible for avoiding officers on the tiles you depart.

Decide when to draw attention

High Notoriety improves your turn order and unlocks Assets, but it also draws police toward you and reduces final cash. Use services that lower it when you need to slip past officers; avoid accumulating red Notoriety cubes without a plan.

Recover hidden money deliberately

Visits remove Income cubes and reveal whether a location is immediate income or end-game cash only to you. Prioritize locations that support your next move and keep enough time to reach an open exit.
