Day Phases and Actions

Resolve the six day phases and choose whether to rest or move.

A round has six phases

1. Income

Skip this on Day 1. On Days 2 and 3, each player collects the lowest number still visible on their Income track. Players with Notoriety 1 or 2 may pay $3,000 to unlock an Asset tile.

2. Patrol

Reveal two Patrol cards on Days 1 and 2 and the last card on Day 3. The second card for an exit closes it. Put an Exit tile stack on that city exit if visible; otherwise keep the stack on the Patrol space until the city tile appears.

3. City

In turn order, place four revealed City tiles, one at a time. Each tile must touch at least two existing tiles and match at least one connected land type. Move its police with it, add any Business/Safe House/Gang shown, then reveal the next display tiles and their police.

4. Turn order

Highest Notoriety plays first, in descending order. Tied players reverse their relative order from the previous turn order.

5. Player actions

Morning, Afternoon and Evening are mandatory. Night and Dawn are optional and each requires spending an Extra Action disc before taking a turn. In a time slot, take one main action—Rest or Move—and any number of legal Executive Actions. After players act, update Notoriety from the red and blue cubes.

6. Change of Day

Advance the Time marker and reset the Rest token. On the first two days, refresh the city as shown in the rulebook and begin the next day.

Rest

Flip your Rest token to its moon side. Refresh your used Contact cards, Equipment tiles and First Aid token, then unlock one Asset tile. You may rest once per day. Keys do not refresh.

Move

Spend three movement points in the Travel step. Leaving a location costs movement, and moving between land types can cost extra. The Subway grants an additional point when used; the Heliport can carry you one or two city tiles away. Next avoid police on each tile you leave, then visit the location where you ended. Using a Subway or Heliport as the endpoint skips Visit.

Notoriety

During the turn, put a cube in the red box for each gain and the blue box for each loss. After actions, move the Notoriety marker by red minus blue, then return those cubes to the pool. Crossing a threshold can let lower-Notoriety players move police toward you and unlocks the listed Asset tiles or Extra Action disc. If you would rise above the top, take a Wound for each excess step.
