Welcome to Container
You are running a shipping business.
Produce goods, sell them through the other players, and carry shipments to Container Island. Every player wants the most
cash at game end, but your secret scoring card changes the value of the colors you collect.
3–5 players, about 45–90 minutes. Start with the setup checklist.
The boards

Each board has a factory district below and harbor district above. Your factory goods are priced by their lot; purchased goods go into your harbor and get a new price. The central islands are Container Island and the Off-Shore Bank. Explore the supply chain.
A turn
At the start of your turn, pay
loan interest and collect any Bank auction you still lead. Then take two actions: build, produce, purchase from a factory, purchase from a harbor, sail, reprice, or call the Bank.
Free actions include
loans and
loan repayment. Sailing to a player’s harbor lets you buy goods there; sailing to the Bank lets you load won goods; sailing to Container Island launches a delivery auction and ends your turn. Read each action.
Move cargo
A factory action makes one matching container per factory. Buyers pay you the prices shown by your factory lots, then set prices in their own harbor. A ship carries up to five goods. To move from one destination to another, return to the ocean first.
On Container Island, opponents bid secretly for your shipment. The winning bidder receives the goods, while you collect the bid plus an equal subsidy from the supply. See auctions.
Count the cash
The game ends after the active turn when two colors run out. Resolve outstanding Bank auctions, reveal scoring cards, discard your most common island color, and score what remains. Leftover goods score less depending on where they sit, while
loans cost $11 each.
The richest player wins; in a tie, factory inventory breaks it. Full final scoring · common questions.
