Shared board

Place the main board in the center of the play area.
Shuffle the exotic sample tiles. Make a face-down stack at the board’s top-left, then reveal three tiles beside it.
Fit the wooden rudder into the circular cutout at the lower-left of the map. Align its sections with the board wedges; the starting alignment is random.
Shuffle the voyage cards. Place a face-down deck left of the board and reveal three cards beside it.
Shuffle the 45 sample tiles and make one or more face-down decks along the bottom edge of the board.
Reveal one sample tile onto each of the eight location spaces on the map.
Shuffle the 36 sketch tiles into three face-down decks and place them in the three slots above the map.
Reveal one sketch tile onto each of the four sketch spaces on the map.
For each of the three shapes shown on the reward tiles (T, square and L), take one random garden reward tile and place it beside the matching garden space.
Shuffle the turn-order tiles and place them as a face-down stack on the marked rectangular space at the bottom of the board.
Reveal four random upgraded lenses onto the four circular spaces at the board’s bottom. Put the remaining lenses face-down under the board as a supply.
Place a random garden pond tile face-up in the upper space of each of the three ponds; return the unused pond tiles to the box.
Reveal a sketch tile into the lower space of each of the three ponds.
Take three random scoring tiles and place one golden-side-up at the end of each university track.
Randomize the remaining four scoring tiles, place them on the achievement bar, and leave their red sides face-up.
