Tips & Strategy
Tips & Strategy for Sweet Lands.
Build a loop
Terrain rewards improve income or Prosperity; roads flip terrain and unlock those rewards; Properties build Cities and Industry capacity; Cookie Rabbits turn Food progress into map value. Plan a sequence that lets one action improve the next.
Keep cards available
Cards are both abilities and the cost of using shared Action Areas. In Rounds 1–4, keep at least one card after your turn. Income draws more in Round 1, but later draws depend on your Extra Draw Areas.
Commit to a scoring engine
Prosperity rates reward the things you actually build. Look at the six tracks and the Final Scoring Tiles before deciding whether to emphasize map development, cards, Properties, Roads, Rabbits or Industry. These are strategic suggestions inferred from the published scoring structure, not publisher strategy advice.
Pass timing
Passing scores Cities, Industry Points, aid and Pass cards. The order of passing also affects next round’s Start Player and Round Aid spaces. Compare the value of one more turn with those rewards before you pass.
