What it adds

One additional potion kind. The completed illustration identifies its power; individual recipe requirements and printed point values vary between tiles.

Setup changes

Include this kind among the six selected kinds for a two- to four-player game, following the regular starter draft. Do not simply add every extra kind on top of the normal selection. For five or six players, use the selection count in The 6th Student.

New and changed rules

When drinking this potion, store up to two ingredients from your hand in its holes. This storage is permitted even if those ingredients could fill your current recipes. Opponents cannot steal these ingredients; on your turns, you may take them back into your hand. This is separate from the three-space Pool. The publisher confirms you may keep the ingredients there for the rest of the game, but may not refill emptied storage later without another activation. FAQ.

Scoring changes

Score the printed value of each completed tile as normal. Drinking it does not reduce that value; it counts as its own potion kind for achievements.
