Fulminating Serum

Setup and the power of this additional potion.

Short tag: [Serum].

What it adds

One additional potion kind. The completed illustration identifies its power; individual recipe requirements and printed point values vary between tiles.

Setup changes

Include this kind among the six selected kinds for a two- to four-player game, following the regular starter draft. Do not simply add every extra kind on top of the normal selection. For five or six players, use the selection count in The 6th Student.

New and changed rules

Discard exactly two chosen ingredients from one dispenser track into the tank. This triggers no explosions. Unlike Filter of Lavamancing, the two may be different colours; the effect does not collect them into your hand.

Scoring changes

Score the printed value of each completed tile as normal. Drinking it does not reduce that value; it counts as its own potion kind for achievements.
