What it adds

One additional potion kind. The completed illustration identifies its power; individual recipe requirements and printed point values vary between tiles.

Setup changes

Include this kind among the six selected kinds for a two- to four-player game, following the regular starter draft. Do not simply add every extra kind on top of the normal selection. For five or six players, use the selection count in The 6th Student.

New and changed rules

Choose one track, remove every ingredient in it, including hidden ones, shuffle them and return them to the tank. Then take the ingredients in that track’s bottom two positions. These removals cause no explosions. With five or six players, the publisher confirms that both the emptying/refilling and the final collection use the current Pick dispenser: temporarily lift its Bell for the refill, rather than redirecting the marbles to the other dispenser. Scoring changes

Score the printed value of each completed tile as normal. Drinking it does not reduce that value; it counts as its own potion kind for achievements.
