Cards & Components
Printed base recipes, potion powers, professors and the pieces used in the exam.
Base recipe and completed-side pictures come from the matching English Tabletop Simulator mod; Professor and token scans come from this mod. Franklin Stickler is pictured from the BGG Store. Other illustrations come from the publisher’s Collector’s Edition rulebook. Each base recipe below has two identical copies in the 64-tile set.
The expansion power illustrations identify every included potion kind, but the individual expansion recipe faces are not pictured here. Their exact hole patterns and printed values still need readable scans; check against the physical component. The completed illustrations are examples, not a claim that all recipes of that kind score the pictured value.
Boards

- First burner — one recipe.
- Second burner — the other recipe.
- Pool — up to three ingredients saved between turns.

- Tank — return ingredients randomly.
- Slide tracks — take the regular pick from the first eight accessible positions.
The [Fifth] Ghastly Cauldron is an exchange supply; its separate printed board face still needs a clear picture.

Expansion potion powers
These are completed-side examples; the separate recipe faces and their variable point values remain unverified. [Fifth], [Sixth], and the promo tags below link to each module’s own rules.
| Picture | Description |
|---|---|
![]() | [Fifth] Brew of Feather Touch. Take at least two adjacent same-colour ingredients horizontally, at most one per track. Unlike Stickiness, this follows a row across tracks. Module rules. |
![]() | [Fifth] Chameleonic Varnish. Choose one colour in your hand and treat every ingredient of that colour as one other regular colour. It affects the hand, unlike Prismatic Joy’s Pool. Module rules. |
![]() | [Fifth] Ghastly Concoction. Exchange one hand ingredient with the Cauldron. The exchange earns one Reward token. Module rules. |
![]() | [Fifth] Dram of Poltergeist Sweat. Take one ingredient from one opponent’s Pool, then exchange it with the Cauldron; gain the exchange Reward. Module rules. |
![]() | [Sixth] Generosity Confection. Take adjacent ingredients from one track equal to the player count. Keep one and give one to each opponent’s Pool, discarding a gift if that Pool is full. Module rules. |
![]() | [Sixth] Concentrate of Selfishness. Steal one ingredient from each opponent’s Pool. An empty Pool supplies nothing; ingredients on recipes are unaffected. Module rules. |
![]() | [Serum] Fulminating Serum. Return two chosen ingredients from one track to the tank; they may be different colours. No explosions result. Module rules. |
![]() | [Invisible] Lotion of Invisibility. Steal one ingredient from one opponent’s Pool or incomplete potion; this can interrupt a recipe already in progress. Module rules. |
![]() | [Glacial] Tonic of Glacial Preservation. On drinking, place up to two hand ingredients on this tile as protected storage, even if usable in current recipes. They cannot be stolen and may return to your hand on your turns. Module rules. |
![]() | [Fortune] Extract of Shuffling Fortune. Empty one entire track, including hidden ingredients, shuffle and return those ingredients, then take the bottom two ingredients of that track. In five- or six-player mode use the current Pick dispenser for the whole effect. FAQ. Module rules. |
Professors
Each chosen Professor applies for the whole game. [Fifth] See Professor setup. [Franklin] The separately released promo has its own page.
| Picture | Description |
|---|---|
![]() | [Fifth] Albedus Humblescore. Discard two same-colour ingredients from your hand to remove one Little Help token, recovering its two-point penalty. Professor rules. |
![]() | [Fifth] Gideon Prissymann. Receive one Scolding if any of your ingredients touch the table during your turn. It is one penalty for that turn’s incident condition, not one per marble. Professor rules. |
![]() | [Fifth] Antiqua Thriftymind. When your Pool is full at turn end, you may exchange one of those ingredients with the Cauldron, gaining the usual Reward. Professor rules. |
![]() | [Fifth] Overwhilma Explosiwa. Collect at least eight ingredients with your regular pick to exchange one of those ingredients with the Cauldron. Help and potion collections do not satisfy this trigger. Professor rules. |
![]() | [Fifth] Gravitha Tidygall. Fill each recipe from its lowest layer upward. The first early placement in an upper layer puts one Scolding on that potion; collect the penalty only when it is completed. There can be at most one Scolding per potion. Professor rules. |
![]() | [Fifth] Shi Zan Shuimo. When taking Little Help, choose its normal marble or the effect of a potion already used. You still take the Little Help token and its penalty. Professor rules. |
![]() | [Fifth] Anxiogenous O’Clockitt. Use a 90-second turn timer. Each expiration costs one Scolding and restarts the timer; a long turn can receive several penalties. Professor rules. |
![]() | [Franklin] Franklin Stickler. Take two adjacent ingredients from one track as your regular pick instead of one. Its subsequent collisions may explode. Promo rules. |
Tokens & pieces
| Picture | Description |
|---|---|
![]() | Skill token. Worth 4 points; gain it from a once-only achievement. The countdown tokens also trigger the end. Achievements. |
![]() | Little Help token. Take one with the extra non-exploding pick; lose 2 points for it at game end. Little Help. |
![]() | First Player token. Stays with the starting player and determines who takes the last turn of the final round. Final round. |
![]() | [Fifth] Reward. Worth +1 point. Each Cauldron Exchange earns one. Scoring. |
![]() | [Fifth] Scolding. Worth −1 point. Take it only for the chosen Professor or effect’s trigger. Scoring. |
![]() | [Sixth] Bell. Marks the Pick dispenser. Swap it only when the other dispenser has more full tracks at turn start. Two dispensers. |
![]() | [Sixth] Mandragora Leaves. Green explodes with green; in a recipe it fills a layer only with other green ingredients. Mandragora. |
Ordinary ingredients are red, blue, yellow and black marbles (twenty of each in the base game). [Fifth] Twelve white Ghost Ectoplasm marbles act as wild ingredients. Isolated pictures of those five marble colours are still missing.

| Skill achievement. Each token scores four points. The matching and diverse achievements are separate; one potion can count for both. Achievements. | |
| Little Help. One extra marble without explosions, at most once per turn; costs two points. Help. |
A star beside the recipe’s value marks a starter potion. The grey ribbon is the recipe side; the green ribbon is the completed side. The symbol on the neck identifies the potion’s power. See the pictured recipe rows rather than identifying a power by liquid colour alone.
