Game End and Scoring
Finish the market, evaluate each personal scoring card, and resolve ties.
End of the game
The game ends after all cards have been drafted from both the three scoring piles and the vegetable market. Cards turned into vegetables still count as drafted cards.
Score each card
For every scoring card in your tableau, apply its condition to your full set of vegetables. Add these results together; a vegetable can count for more than one scoring card. The rulebook’s example totals a combination card, a carrot-pair card, a carrot-and-onion card, a most-onions card, and a variety card separately, then adds those five results.
A “most” or “fewest” condition compares your vegetable count with every opponent. The scoring card owner scores when tied for the stated condition; for “most,” the designers say you generally need at least one of that vegetable to qualify. Count each player’s own cards only; no one scores another player’s scoring card.
Ties
If final scores tie, the player later in turn order wins. The designer confirms this means the later seat in the overall turn order, even if that player had fewer opportunities during the final sequence.
