Tips & Strategy
Practical guidance for action-card planning and building a profitable grid.
Plan the card rows
Each card locks into a specific company-mat space until you retrieve it. Check the next open spaces in both rows before choosing a card: its zone, cost or benefit, and energy can change with the space. Use Retrieve All only when the cards you recover are worth giving up an action and moving your time disc forward.
Unlock with intent
Tower columns open more than construction. They unlock contract types, grid spaces, income thresholds and venture slots. Before spending energy on a contract, confirm the transformer is unlocked and connected, the matching sector has a tower, and every market icon on the tile is accessible.
Build a useful network
Bulldozers position future construction and can block access to a site. Move them before an opponent takes a space you need; the utility area preserves a bulldozer for later, while a parking bonus permanently removes it from the map. Network-line requirements and contract-placement limits can make early grid decisions affect the rest of the game.
Time income against scoring
Contract arrows advance income markers, and income is collected in every Consolidation. Scoring tiles and majorities change which contracts are valuable now. Keep enough energy for future contracts and remember that venture capital must be repaid. Specialist scoring cards are flexible: hold one when a later scoring condition will make it stronger.
Videos and rules
Video teaches can help players visualize card placement and the solo opponent. Use the current publisher rulebooks for exact card costs, tile faces, and the module combinations in your game.
