Game End and Scoring
Weekly, meeting and final Production Points.
Sandra’s evaluation
Each day Sandra visits a department, checks the least-trained employee or employees there, and may penalize them unless they meet that department’s safety criterion. The penalty starts at 1 PP and increases by one for each banked shift below five. Then she resolves that department’s maintenance task. Her department changes according to the rules and can skip a full department, which may shorten the game.
End-of-week scoring
When Sandra performs her task in
Administration, score each car in each player’s garages: that car earns one PP for every upgrade made to its model by any player, plus one for each of that player’s tested designs of the model. Advance the Week marker unless it is already at its last space.
Meetings
When the pace car reaches or passes a striped test-track space, schedule a meeting after that day’s work and Sandra’s turn. In certification order, each player must eventually play one Performance Goal from hand before passing. On a turn, you may play a goal and/or place one speech token on an eligible goal. Use the highest-numbered empty speech space on that goal. Its multiplier caps the number of matching items that score; each matching item is worth the printed PP. A goal’s speech spaces limit how many players can score from it. You may speak on an opponent’s goal, even if that gives them an advantage.
The meeting ends after everyone passes consecutively. Return speech tokens used in the meeting to the players, replace generic ones as described in the rules, discard revealed goals, and set up the next meeting’s goals. Advance the Production Cycle marker unless it is already at its final space.
End of the game
When one of the Week or Production Cycle markers reaches its third space while the other is at least on its second, finish the current day and any week scoring or meeting that it triggers. Then score the Final Goal by spending one speech token for each qualifying achievement, once per achievement. Add one PP for every banked shift, speech token, Book and Parts Voucher remaining; score each car at the value shown on the player board; award 5/3/1 PP for first/second/third training position in each department; and score each tested design at its part’s current value. A tie breaks by most cars, then most tested designs, then most banked shifts; otherwise tied players share the result.
