Advancements
Modular rules for new technologies, locations and cabin matching.
Short tag: [Adv]
What it adds
The expansion includes optional modules that can be used separately or together: Cabin-Matching Blueprints, Advanced Technologies, Technology tracks, and Location Bonus tokens. Its additional Agenda Cards, Experts, Upgrade tokens, Cockpit and Engine may be mixed into the base supply as appropriate.
Setup changes
[Adv] Location Bonus module: place one inactive token on each of the six Network locations. [Adv] Technology tracks: place the corresponding track and marker by each Technology. [Adv] Cabin-Matching: replace the base Blueprint supply with the matching expansion Blueprints. Follow the Training Manual’s module-specific setup.
New rules
[Adv] Cabin-Matching Blueprints show two cabin halves; build matching halves so their icons align to complete a cabin. [Adv] When a Location Bonus becomes active after the required number of adjacent Developments (3 in 1–3 players; 4 in 4 players), later Worker placements there earn its bonus for each of your adjacent Developments. [Adv] When you use a tracked Technology, advance its marker once per turn; crossing cost marks raises the cost to build or use it, and reaching the end improves its effect. The track’s advanced space is skipped in the player counts specified on the tile.
Solo changes
[Adv] Rachel does not cabin-match. Her Location Bonus rewards convert Money, Ads and Resources to 1 VP; she still gains VP, Reputation and Agenda bonuses normally. When she advances a Technology, move the least advanced invented Technology; break ties by her Number System.
