How to teach it
Use the preset hands. Show stocking before selling, then aging before utilities: a paper profit is not useful if you cannot pay your next bill. Rehearse bidding with empty dials before hiding real decisions.
Your first game
Keep cash for stock and utilities before investing. Compare what your own Stores want with opponents’ capacity before choosing supply. A monopoly can earn the maximum price, but market cards and new Stores can break it.
Plan your building
Third and fourth slots improve Market Card control but add utilities. Buy a combo for the number of months it can actually operate, and be ready to close a Store when its rent or inventory stops making sense. A surviving Store’s final points matter alongside its monthly profit.
Videos versus the rulebook
The published seven-phase order puts Advertisement before Supply and Sale. Use the designer’s correction that sufficient supply or demand includes exact equality. Earlier print-and-play material can have different costs, phase order or Store names.
