Cards & Components
Every 18 India component face: the map and market board, all 18 charters, every share and Director's certificate, the six Private Companies, the 10 train faces, all 50 track tiles with their upgrades, commodity tokens and concessions, station tokens and markers.
Every distinct face, grouped by type, with a link to the rule that uses it. Pictures come from the public Tabletop Simulator mod “18 India” of GMT’s edition; tile counts and upgrades follow the rulebook’s tile manifest.
Boards
Map board

Numbered parts: see Teach the Game. Tile lays must extend connected track from a Company’s station city; a route links at least two Cities and scores one of that Company’s stations. The ferry at J37 must connect K38 to J35, I36 or I38, while the K26–K28 water-looking edge is land. Route and track rulings for this map: FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ
Train and Open Market board

Numbered parts: see Teach the Game. The chart maps per-share revenue to price movement; at ₹67, ₹210 revenue pays ₹21 per share and moves the price three spaces. If the bank breaks or a share reaches ₹400, finish the current set of Operating Rounds, with ₹400 ending the game at that round’s end. Stock market and bank edge cases: FAQ FAQ FAQ

Cards
Company charters
18 charters (one per Company; 10 are used each game). Each shows the home city and hex, the station tokens (home free, then ₹40, then ₹100 each), the train area (limit 2, one Phase IV train), concessions and treasury (Companies). For Managed Companies, three shares must be in play including one bought by a player; ties preserve the current Manager. If the Director’s Certificate later enters play, the Company becomes Directed; a tied buyer and Manager resolve it in the Manager’s favour. FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ

The Manager is the player who first bought a GIPR share until another owns more; the player who floats it sets its home station. FAQ FAQ |
Share certificates
One face per Company: eight 10% shares each (ten for the GIPR). The printed price is what you pay from your hand or the IPO; it is also the Company’s starting market price (Buying). If a Company has no price yet, selling its share pays this face value. FAQ Certificate limits exclude Royal Bonds, hand certificates and Company-held certificates; if a Director’s Certificate is sold, it swaps with the player who owns most shares; a tied takeover after a sale goes to the next tied player in turn order. A sale may put you one certificate over your limit, which you must correct at your next selling turn. Only a dividend greater than half the share price moves that price. FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ

20% (two shares), one per Company except the GIPR; set aside at setup and added to the draft (Directed Companies). Buying this certificate floats the Company immediately; a Director’s Certificate is one certificate for the limit, though it represents two shares. FAQ FAQ FAQ

Royal Bonds and Guaranty warrants
| Picture | Description |
|---|---|
![]() | Royal Bond ×10 — ₹100, income ₹10; from Phase IV convertible into a GIPR share (Royal Bonds). The card says the player pays the GIPR: wrong — the player pays the bank the difference, the bank pays the GIPR ₹100. From Phase IV, another Company may convert a bond only if it owns fewer than 3 certificates; GIPR cannot convert its own. FAQ FAQ |
![]() | Royal Bond, reverse — a 10% GIPR share once converted. |
![]() | Guaranty Company warrant ×3 — the bank pays 5% of the price when the Company pays nothing; expires at Phase IV (Guaranty Companies). Does not count toward certificate limits. If a Guaranty Company pays no dividend, the price stays put and the bank pays 5% per share; ending an Operating Round without a train still drops the price one space. |
Train cards
25 cards (Train types). A route must connect at least two Cities, include one of the Company’s stations, and obey each train’s stop count; a tile cannot normally be entered twice. FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ FAQ

Tiles
Track tiles
All colours are available from the start; upgrades go yellow → green → brown → gray (Upgrading). Quantities and upgrade paths from the rulebook’s tile manifest. An upgrade replaces the old tile while preserving existing track connections; a route can use a tile only as its printed track allows.
