Can I use the same Command action more than once in a round?
No. Each of your three Command Directives must use a different personal action space. One Directive can repeat its action several times, up to four total, by combining Order-card lines and extra Overseers. (Rulebook, p. 8.)
Can I send two City Directives to the same City Quarter?
No. Each time you issue a City Directive, choose a City Quarter where you have no Overseers. You must choose a different Quarter for each of your City Directives that round. (Rulebook, p. 13.)
Can I use a Workshop owned by another player?
Yes. Pay its owner one Yínzi, then use matching-color Peasants from Local Markets. Goods produced by your action belong to you. (Rulebook, p. 16.)
Do Peasants and Goods spend Transport Capacity when they move?
The track gives you a movement allowance for the current turn. Each unit crossing a province border or moving between a Province and the Port uses one point; movement within one Province is free. Do not move your Ambassador when using the allowance. (Rulebook, pp. 9–10.)
What happens if I cannot feed or pay an Overseer?
Take one Misfortune tile for each Overseer you cannot feed, and another for each Overseer you cannot pay. Each Misfortune costs 2 WP in final scoring. (Rulebook, pp. 18, 21, 23.)
When do I score a completed Silk Road Caravan?
Keep the completed Caravan face down near your Player board after it is validated in Regulation. Add its printed WP during final scoring. An incomplete Caravan scores nothing. (Rulebook, pp. 20, 22.)
Do we have to use Natural Disasters?
No. The rulebook labels them optional. When using them, resolve each type shown on displayed Caravans once per type during Regulation; duplicate icons of one type do not repeat its effect. (Rulebook, p. 20.)
