La Croisette
Add the La Croisette terrain and its restricted bases to Toy Battle.
How it works
La Croisette adds a ninth terrain with no change to the normal turn or victory rules. Its two marked special bases have placement restrictions that apply before placing: only strength 4, 5, 6, or 7 Troops, or Kwak, may be placed there. Troop abilities do not resolve on one of those bases.
One special base lets you draw a Troop from reserve to your rack. The other makes your opponent choose a Troop from their rack without looking and lay it face down; they cannot play it on their next turn, then return it face up to their rack. This Troop still counts toward the eight-Troop rack limit. You cannot use the draw effect if it would take your rack over the limit.
These effects follow the base game’s order: first check placement eligibility, then resolve the new base effect. The expansion has no additional scoring condition.
Components
The expansion is one new terrain board. The included English rules show the board in an angled overview; individual base details are not fully legible in that small diagram. See the publisher’s expansion rules.
