Welcome to Tiletum

Early Renaissance. You are a merchant travelling from Tiletum — today’s Tielt in Belgium — across Europe to Venice: taking trade Contracts, building Houses and Cathedral Pillars, housing famous Characters and winning the favour of noble families.
The most victory points after 4 rounds wins. Points come from the four Fairs, from Contracts and Cathedrals during the game, and at the end from Houses × Pillars and Completed Buildings.
1–4 players (solo against the Cardinalbot), 60–100 minutes. Ready to set up? Open the setup checklist — it adapts to your player count.
The boards
The main board holds the Action Wheel where the dice are rolled, the King track and Turn Order track, the Character and Contract offers, the four Fair Towns and the map of Europe.
Your player board has six Buildings for Characters, Crest spaces under them, six Contract spaces holding your Pillars, a four-space Storehouse and spaces for your three dice of the round.
Your turn
Three turns a round. On your turn:
- Take a die from the Action Wheel (pay 2
Gold per +1/−1 first if you like), and the
Bonus tile beside it if you want it. - Take Resources: as many as the die shows, of its colour.
- Do the Action beside it with 7 minus the value Action Points:
Architect,
Merchant,
Character,
Contract,
King or
Joker.
Whenever you like, do free Tasks: buy Resources with Gold, fulfil Contracts, place Crests, build Cathedrals, use Helpers. The full turn.
King and Fair
After three turns each:
- King phase — the highest on the King track takes a Bonus tile; everyone gains or loses the points of their space; turn order follows the track. Corruption pushes everyone down during the round, so climb now and then.
- Fair phase — players with a House or their Merchant in this round’s Fair Town score (board + tile) × the tile’s condition.
- Cleanup — refill the wheel’s Bonus tiles and turn it one step.
The end
After the fourth Fair:
- Houses × Pillars on the map.
- Completed Buildings (Characters + Crest): 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 of them score 5 / 10 / 20 / 30.
- 1 point per 4 Resources left.
Most points wins; a tie goes to the player earlier in turn order. Final scoring.
