Add laboratory boards, pepper chits, recipes, market cards, and alternate breeding charts.

New lab components

Shuffle the expansion’s 12 market cards into the matching morning and afternoon decks, and shuffle its 12 recipes into the recipe deck. Add the six lab boards, six extra-plant tiles, 36 pepper chits, 48 new pepper tokens (seven each in purple, green, orange, brown, white and black, plus six phantom peppers), six alternate breeding charts, and the Hot Stuff victory card to the game.

The alternate chart replaces the base breeding chart for every player. Use the player’s lab board to track the expansion’s lab effects; score and resolve the core actions as described in the base rules.

The Scoville Labs rules list the added components. Available public pictures do not show all new card faces clearly enough to transcribe.
