Market and Chili Cookoff
Trade harvested peppers for market rewards, recipe points or cash.
Choose your fulfillment actions
In turn order, each player may visit the Farmers’ Market once, claim one recipe once, and sell one batch once. Take these actions in any order. Keep claimed cards behind your screen; they score their printed points at the end of the game.
At the market, pay the peppers on the wanted side of one face-up card to the supply, then collect its printed pepper, coin and point rewards. At the cookoff, pay the pictured pepper combination to the supply and keep that recipe. Peppers received from a market card can be spent on a recipe immediately in the same phase.
Sell one pepper color
Return up to five peppers of one color to the supply. For each pepper sold, gain one dollar for every pair of that color planted in the field at that moment. For example, with four yellow peppers planted, each yellow pepper you sell is worth $2; three yellow peppers therefore earn $6.
