Game End and Scoring
Pay the annual wood levy, then balance your two Prestige tracks and convert your remaining gold.
Annual wood levy
At the end of each Winter, count your exterior castle pieces, including the starting Basic Building. Discard one wood for every three pieces, rounding up: 1–3 pieces cost 1 wood, 4–6 cost 2, and so on. For each wood you cannot pay, lose 3 exterior Prestige. Record the penalty immediately. After years one and two, reveal the next craftsman tier.
In the final Winter, resolve building orders and the wood levy, then score. Skip ordinary end-of-season income and worker recovery.
Final score
Add the exterior Prestige values of your castle and the interior Prestige from decorations. Find the difference between the two totals, divide it by two and round down; add that result to the lower total. This balances the two tracks while rewarding progress on both.
Then add 3 points for each yellow reward tile you claimed, the points from dark-blue condition awards, and any 3-point light-blue conditions you claimed after the yellow supply ran out.
Convert leftover resources to gold at the standard Market rates: marble is worth 3 gold, glass 2, and wood or limestone 1 each. For every 4 gold, score 1 point; discard the remainder. Subtract any unpaid winter-levy penalties already recorded.
The player with the highest total wins. For a tie, the player with the smaller gap between the two Prestige tracks wins; if still tied, compare the interim result before bonus points, then the player furthest ahead on the action track.
