Draft support tiles before play for immediate help or endgame combinations.

Setup and draft

Skip the base setup step that places starting resources in Harbor storage. Set aside the two white Corbitas, Lighthouse building and 20 Support tiles. Shuffle and deal five face down to each player. Draft one tile, pass the rest clockwise, and continue until each player has drafted five. From those five, keep four and return one to the box.

Resolve immediate benefits. If multiple players gain sailing benefits, resolve them in counter-clockwise order starting with the player nearest the first player. Put tiles with endgame effects face down near your Asset board until scoring.

Tile families

Immediate benefits include a white Corbita, Lighthouse building, one free Sail step, Triumph, or resources. A white Corbita acts like a normal one for harbor production and sowing but cannot be moved to the main board when you build a Ponto. Endgame tiles add an Amphora or animal icon, or score combinations involving building icons, ship icons, Amphoras, and Corbitas in the Distant Sea. Read each selected tile’s printed requirement and score it during the extra final scoring step.
