Game End and Scoring

Correct solutions, losses and the second player’s final attempt.

Two players

Submit your solution instead of asking a question on your turn. A wrong solution loses immediately.

• If the player who started second solves correctly, that player wins immediately.
• If the player who started first solves correctly, the second player gets one last solution attempt. A wrong answer gives the first player the win. A correct answer makes a draw; play again to decide the winner.

Three to five players

The quiz master does not compete. Each hunter normally gets two solution attempts, submitted on that hunter’s own turn. A first mistake uses one attempt; a second eliminates the hunter. The first correct complete solution wins. If everyone uses both attempts unsuccessfully, the exploration fails and nobody wins.

The rules allow the number of attempts to be adjusted to suit the hunters’ experience. Agree the adjustment before playing.

Points

There are no victory points, resource bonuses or gemstone-value scores. Reconstruct the positions and orientations of all pieces.
