Blackbody

An optional signal absorber for experienced hunters.

Short tag: [Blackbody].

What it adds

The black piece from each seven-piece set.

Setup changes

Add it to the hidden mine for an expert game. Put it with its point upward, like a mountain, as the rulebook suggests for convenience.

Absorption

A wave that hits it is absorbed. The quiz master reports “The signal was absorbed”, with neither an exit label nor a colour. A coordinate question that hits the black piece receives the same response.

A black-coloured wave from mixing red, yellow and blue is different: it still has an exit. The piece absorbs the wave.

Ending

Include the black piece in the full solution. Apply the normal ending rules.
