The Eagle & The Lion
Opera Magna's The Eagle & The Lion expansion: two new Opera Boards, Pisa's Piazza dei Miracoli and Venice's St. Mark's Basilica, each with 12 Worksite Tokens, new unlock rules and a new Opera score.

What it adds
Two Opera Boards that you can use instead of the Florence Opera Board, each with its own set of 12 double-sided Worksite Tokens:
- Piazza dei Miracoli (Pisa) — two separate Operas, the Baptistery and the Leaning Tower; tokens marked C.
- St. Mark’s Basilica (Venice) — three separate Sections; tokens marked D.
One side of each token has a new effect (C or D); the other side repeats an effect from the core game. Every face is in Cards & Components. Everything not changed below follows the core rules.
Setup changes
Do step 4 of the core setup (The Opera) with these changes:
- Put the chosen expansion Opera Board in place of the Florence one.
- Take its 12 Worksite Tokens and sort them by Certificate level (1, 2 or 3).
- Place them at random on the board’s Worksites, matching each space’s level.
- Choose for all tokens together: all new-effect sides up (C or D), all core-effect sides up, or a random side for each token.
The Building decks and the rest of the setup do not change.
Send goods to the Opera
The rule for choosing a Worksite changes: a Worksite can be taken only if every Worksite on the floor below, in the same Opera or Section, already holds at least one Player Token. Columns no longer matter.
Piazza dei Miracoli
The Baptistery and the Leaning Tower of Pisa are two separate Operas for every rule and effect. When an effect refers to “the Opera”, you choose which of the two it applies to.

St. Mark’s Basilica
Three separate Sections, each needing one Certificate level. Level 2 and level 3 Worksites — and their effects — can be reached much sooner than in Florence, because each Section starts on its own ground floor.

End-game scoring
Score as in the core game, but box 7 (The Opera) is replaced:
- Piazza dei Miracoli: 2
for each other player with fewer Player Tokens than you on
the Baptistery, plus 2 for each other player with fewer on the Leaning Tower. - St. Mark’s Basilica: the same, separately for the Left, Center and Right Sections.
Worksite 09D also scores 3 for each of your tokens in the Right Section.
