Game End and Scoring
The three ways a Mr. Jack game ends and which role wins.
Jack escapes
After Jack has been declared invisible at a round’s witness call, he may try during the following round to move his disguised character off the board through an exit without a police cordon. Leaving costs a movement point. Only Jack may move his own disguised character out. If he escapes, Jack wins immediately.
The Detective accuses
The Detective wins by moving an activated character onto Jack’s hex and naming the accusation. If the identity is wrong, Jack wins immediately. Moving another character onto Jack with an ability does not count as an accusation; the Detective’s character must move onto him.
The eighth round
If Jack is neither captured nor escaped by the end of round eight, Jack wins. There is no point tally: the winner is determined by the escape, a correct or incorrect accusation, or survival through the final round.
