Game End and Scoring
How a game of Hegemony ends after round 5: paying off Loans, each class's final scoring and the tie-breaks, plus a summary of every way to score during the game.
When the game ends
The game ends after the Scoring Phase of round 5. Then check Loans, add each class’s final points and compare.
Check Loans
- Capitalist Class: −5
per Loan; it may not pay them off now. - Everyone else: may pay off each Loan for 55 . What you cannot pay, pay in
steps of 5; you lose 1
for every 5 not paid (a whole unpaid Loan costs 11).
Final scoring by class
| Class | Policies scored | Other end points |
|---|---|---|
| Policies 1–5 in A: 1/2/3/4/5 → 1/4/8/12/18 | 1 per 10 , max 15 | |
