How to teach it

Your first game

Keep a mix of tea colors available: contracts and Royal Orders can ask for different goods. A concession is valuable when you need to substitute for an import cost or activate a useful city tile. Consider whether buying a share now will pay through dividends or final share value.

Use the publisher’s current rulebooks for setup and exact action timing. The available solo playthrough is useful as an example of a solo session, but its video description does not identify a retail rulebook version.
