Common mistakes

A Royal Supplier already in first place stays there when it would rise again. Ruling · Rule

If it is already first, its marker does not move.
If its marker is on the track, swap it with the company immediately above it.
If it is outside the track, add it at the last position in the queue, then move it up one place by exchanging with the company ahead of it. An empty track puts the new marker first. Under the printed rules, an entering marker takes the lowest occupied position and pushes that company down; a marker pushed beyond fifth place leaves the track.
