Activities and Extras
Location actions, Local tiles, Bucket Lists, and Festivals.
Location visit
Play a Location card for its visit action when your pawn is in the card’s region. Pay its day cost, reduced by spending Excitement to a minimum of one. Place the leftmost available Day disc of the current week in that region, then resolve the card effect and any matching weekday bonus in either order. You may decline an effect. A card’s own Excitement gain comes too late to reduce that card’s visit cost.
Write, Rest, and Plan
You can take a basic activity instead of visiting the played Location. Discard three cards and spend one day, placing that day in your current region. Write gives 4 Coins, Rest gives 2 Energy, and Plan draws 3 Location cards. You do not need a card from your current region to choose these activities.
Local tiles
The Local tile in your current region grants its printed one-use effect when you spend it. Each turn you may take at most one Local tile extra.
Bucket Lists
You may claim a Bucket List tile for your current region if you meet the printed requirement, have not already claimed a tile from that list, and a tile remains available. The tiles are ranked: claim the highest-value available tile and remove it from the list. Each turn allows at most one Bucket List claim.
Festivals
Festivals are used in a full game; the first-game setup leaves them in the box. Only the two active regions have Festivals each week. To attend, your current region must match, your week must have no Monday–Friday discs left, and you must pay the Festival cost. Gain 2 points and take the Festival ability tile for that region. You may attend at most one Festival per turn.
Postcards
Whenever an effect tells you to take a Postcard, draw three, keep one, and put the other two on the bottom of the deck. Your first-game setup is the exception: draw one and keep it. A Postcard has two possible goals; at game end score only the higher goal you fulfilled.
