Tips & Strategy
A source-grounded teaching order and practical first-game reminders.
How to teach it
Begin with the race to the Meteorite and the six-round limit. Show how the three phases fit together, then demonstrate one card draw, one Explorer action and one Station build. Explain Milestones before the first Action Phase so players can plan for the round 3 check.
First-game reminders
- Use Meteorite -60.2°, the rulebook’s recommended first-game choice.
- The solo setup uses the two-player map and shared setup; Arka has her own pieces and action deck.
- Explorers on the Harbor do not count as Presence for Station upgrades (designer FAQ, 20 October 2026).
- A Meteorite adjacent to an explored Landscape is treated as explored. This clarification is in a BGG rules-thread response, not the rulebook.
- The 20 October designer FAQ corrects two labels in the current PDF: page 17 says “engineers” where it should say “experts”; page 11 says “planning phase” where it should say “preparation phase.”
- Each player starts with 5 Explorers on their Tableau and keeps 12 more in the general supply. Add 2 to their Reserve at the start of each Planning Phase.
